JICNY’s 4th annual Passport to the World Gala will be on June 17th, 2008.  This is the very special time of the year where we can stop and celebrate the people who mean so much to us. This year our dedicated honorees go the extra mile to ensure that JICNY and the broader Jewish community are performing to their maximum potential. We congratulate Yehudah Amital of Morocco owner of Darna Restaurant and JICNY's first partner with the Jewish Leadership Award, JICNY's close friends Jocelyn and Shawn Holt of USA with the Jewish Continuity Award, Rabbi Nissim Elnecave of Mexico City a dedicated Monday Night teacher for our Latino/Spanish Torah classes with the Educational Outreach Award.

Last year’s event featured Russian Bottle Dancers, a Mariachi Band, Moroccan Drummers, foods from around the globe and internationally infused cocktails. This year please join us On Tuesday June 17th join JICNY in an evening to honor our closest friends, and to celebrate the world's most breathtaking landmarks and cityscapes. Featuring rhythmic international music, acrobatic entertainment, bold flavours from around the globe and a silent auction with international flare.
 

Our volunteer event committees have already started making this event memorable and exciting. If you would like to get involved in planning another spectacular and exciting June Gala please contact Maral@jicny.com we are looking for volunteers who can help us secure Auction Items, Sponsorships, Publicity and of course more fresh and innovative ideas to make the evening even more memorable than last years. Advance ticket purchase entitles each guest to two door prize tickets.
